Lily (Linda Amad)
1/21/2001
She is a beagle.welsh corgi mix. We adopted her from the Humane Society when she was 2. She is a real sweetie
and a wonderful family member! Her favorite snack is baby carrots.
Gracie (Kristy Meyer) 1/28/2003 It is estimated that Gracie was born in December, however, we celebrate
her birthday on Superbowl Sunday, the day she came home to her forever home. How perfect, then it is that she became such
a football fan! The Colts collar she wears with pride, and this pooch loves watching the game on Sunday...seriously, she only
leaves the room during commercials. it might explain that she rarely brings the ball back, as she was trained to "go long"
like Marvin Harrison and make spectacular catches. The Colts defense could take some lessons from her too!
February
Max (Megan) 2/3/2005 He is a westie! Very cute. We couldn't resist getting Eddy a buddy!
Shadow (Kati Sands)
02/22/2004
She is a
black lab mix and she is our baby girl! She was diagnosed with Epilepsy about a year ago and takes meds 2 times a day but
she is doing well!
March
Madison Lynn "Madi" (Heather Kilgore)
3/9/2003
She is my 100 dollar dog who in my eyes, is worth a million. They say dogs are man's best friend", this dog has
become my best friend. She is terribly spoiled. You can recognize Madi at the park, she is the one usually rolling around
in the grass and hanging around the people who will scratch her back (like she is neglected at home!) Don't know what
I would do without my girl!
Brutus (Karen Moench)
3/22/2003
He is the crazy PWD (Porteguese Water Dog) who loves to fetch the tennis ball. He also likes to share his tennis ball
with humans by dropping the ball at unsuspecting onlooker's feet.:)
April
Sasha(Shannon)

Skylar (Alex Devore)
5/1/2004
We rescued her by fate. Her name is my great-grandmother's maiden name and her birthdate is our wedding date! It
was meant to be!
Spanky(Michelle)
5/1/2005
Spanky is a wacky character. (I am not sure if he knows that he is a dog) He is not the most obedient canine, but he
sure is cute. Check him out on dogster.com. He is very photogenic!
Lilly(Michelle)
5/18/2006
I just adopted Lilly from a foster parent that works the CARE group from Columbus, IN. Lilly is a very sweet girl. She
loves every dog and human she meets. Lilly is trying to master potty training, but can already fetch a frisbee, sit,
and lay down.
Gizmo(Jenn)
5/24/07
Giz is a very loving dog that never leaves my side.
Abby (Brandi Litchen)
5/25/2003
Abby is the princess of our house. A very pampered beagle. She has the attitude "What Abby wants, Abby gets."
She was in very bad shape though when we bought her so she is intitled to it.
Chinook (Jessica Burchett)
6/1/2003
We adopted Chinook from the Indy Home for Huskies organization and have loved her ever since. She had 7 puppies before
she came to us, and was given up by her former owners. She is a wonderfully sweet girl!
Destiny (Debbie Grush) 6/3/2004 Destiny (the greyhound diva!) will be celebrating her 1 year old birthday June
3rd! She will celebrate with a "doggie cake" for her and her 4-legged buddies at 5:30 at the bark park on her big day! Please
bring Destiny's friends to share in the cake and fun on her birthday!
Flash (Brani Kitchen)
6/5/2004
Flash is the dare-devil of all beagles. He loves to run from adventure to adventure. If there is not one,
by all means he will create one. He loves little kids and wants to play all the time. Also, he lets you know when he has arrived
by doing his beagle howl. He is my little man.
Goocher (Sacha Brady)
6/13/2003
The Goochmonster is a fun-loving predator who feasts on fuzz, bugs, and random refuse on occasion. He enjoys relaxing on something
soft (like the sofa or a pile of clean laundry) or stretching out on the floor when having a dog’s life simply wears
him out. You can recognize him at the park by the golden eyes that match his caramel coat—look out, he’s a face-licker!
MacKenzie King Gilmer (Angela Gilmer)
6/22/1994
Our boy will be 11...he's an active Senior who loves to swim, chew on treats outside, and take rides in the car. He loves
Eagle Creek Park and holds the "Number One Pooch Pass" for the Gilmer Canine Companion Zone park.
July
Sid (Karen Moench) 7/1/95 Sid is the old man of the house(he is a Papillon) and doesn't get to come to the park,
since he has a hard time liking other dogs.
Oreo (Stacie)
7/4/2004
Oreo is the third "dog" (actually a cat), because Cayenne babies her. They all play well together and follow
the same outdoor play schedule.
Allison (Amy Lilly)
7/4/1998
Little Bit (Ciara Ralston)
7/14/1994
Mostly sleeps, but loves treats and the snow!.
Laddie (Melissa Whybrew)
7/21/2003
Laddie Franklin "Laddies never in that much trouble. Laddie is our Rescue and is the sweethart of the family. He loves
the park and you'll see him put on his 80 poulnd brakes if we leave too soon for him.
Bailey (Michelle Roth)
7/25/2005
'Bailey is a black lab mix that I adopted on May 26, 2006. I don't know his exact birthday, but the estimate is that
he will turn one shortly, so July 25th it will be. He is a very sweet, lovable dog that just wants to be by my side all of
the time. I just starting taking him to the dog park this last week, and he has really taken to Grady, a 150 pound Great Dane.
(Bailey is only about 50 pounds, so it's quite funny to watch them play together.) He is quite mellow for his age, and has
become my little black shadow. He is always there to listen when I talk about my golden, Tasha, that recently passed away.
He definitely is helping to keep my spirits up. I'm glad he's my boy and I think he is as well.
Francis Fox (Sarah Heying)
7/25/07
Francis loves coming to the dog park and running like the wind, enticing the big dogs to chase him!
Gabriella "Gabby" (Rebecca Breeden)
7/30/2004
Gabby is a flashy brindle boxer who is rotten to the core! I have no idea how she got that way!!
BOO(Heather)
7/31/2003
Boo's birthdate is not his actual birth date but the date of his new lease on life when he narrowly avoided being euthanized
at the City Dog Pound in Memphis, TN. My pride and joy, Boo always has kisses for anyone foolish enough to bend over to pet
him. His BFF's are Joni's Bailey, Michelle's Bailey and August's Desia but he is always looking for new friends (the 2 legged
or 4 legged kind)
August
Clara aka Clara- Belle (Amy) 8/1/1999 I got Clara ( aka "Sombrero" the ranch dog) in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Unfortunately,
the Rancher she worked for was less than pleased with her "leisurely" attitude. I brought her into the world of air-conditioning
and couches and she hasn't looked back yet! Clara had a birthday party last year, and she plans on having another party with
here friends at her grandparent swimming pool/backyard this August. She even had a doggie Birthday cake! Yum!
Pete (Karen Moench) 8/5/2000 Pete is my bichon who likes to roll in anything stinky or disgusting. So, if you
see him at the park with his feet in the air -- just know he is in heaven at the moment.
Silky (Sonja Bourges) 8/5/2004 She loves pearls, necklaces, dresses & jazz
Flukes (Victoria)

guy is a true Mama's Boy and never strays too far from me to offer love and protection any time he thinks it's necessary.
Slackjaw (Joel)
05/15/2004
Mutt
Santa Clause (Joel)
08/30/2000

Buddy is a beautiful border collie lab mix with a lot of enegy
Liberty (Sarah)
9/11/2004
Liberty will have her very first birthday on Sunday 9/11! She is a real joy and certainly keeps life interesting. I
picked her out when she was 6 weeks old (brought her home at 8) and one of her favorite activities is to watch people. She
has passed her obedience class and will be enrolled in a Canine Good Citizenship class within the month. I cant
wait till well be able to volunteer at hospitals and/or nursing homes!
Linus (Victoria)
09/12/2004
He's a shiz shu brown and white. He's also our other dogs best friend. They do everything together.
Tasha (Michelle Roth)
Tasha was my golden retriever for 11.5 years. She passed away on May 21, 2006 from Lymphoma. I wanted to mention her
as well, because she was my sweet angel for such a long time. She was the funniest, smartest, most loving girl that anyone
could wish for. I had her from the time she was 4.5 weeks old. She knew nothing but love her entire life, and I am thankful
for that. Her two favorite things in the world were swimming and eating. (Steak was her favorite). She was born on September
23, 1994. She was loved by everyone that met her and she is greatly missed.
October
Brodie (Sandy Moore)
10/1/1989
Brodie is the old man of the park, I think at 16 years. He cannot hear, so when you see me waving my arms wildly, it's
to get his attention. He is my baby, my buddy and my pal. I wish I could give him all that he's given to me. Unfortunately,
he's better at it. He is a typical terrier..in his younger days, nothing, and I mean nothing would stop him. I love his independent,
loyal and brave soul. And he LOVES the park!
Hershey (Ciara Ralston)
10/5/2005
Cute, curious, and constantly finding somehting to run off with! Somewhat of a scaredy cat!
Shadow (Marley and Todd)
10/7/2001
Shadow is a golden retiever black lab mix and is Grandma'a pride and joy. He likes to keep an eye on Barkley and Annabelle
and is veery laid back. He just likes to be loved on and taken to the park.
Abby (Dan Lah)
10/8/2003
Abby is a small black lab mix (looks mostly lab, but only about the size of a 6 mos lab puppy), she's the most important
lady in my life. I got her from Indy Animal Control in October 2004. Her exact birthday is unknown, so I just dedided
to pick the day I got her, when she was estimated to be 1 yr old.
Scamp (Brian) 10/19/2002 Scamp and I became friends on October 19,2002 which happens to be my Birthday also.
I always will believe Scamp is a present sent from above because I literally found him wondering around and decided to take
him home and we've been together ever since. He has been very easy to train and well mannered. Unfortunately any bad habits
he has acquired is because of me not him. Example:when I first got Scamp he would not bother you when eating and would not
get on furniture. Thats okay whats mine is his also. All for one and one for all. Like I said he is a gift from above.
Korena (Tiera and Ryan Aubrey)
10/27/2003
She's a Siberian Husky. She LOVES to run! She prefers to play with smaller dogs and chase greyhounds.
November
Mace (Stacie)
11/01/2000
Mace is usually a sweetheart. He's a rescue that loves to play soccer, play with kids, receive attention,
eat pizza, and scarf down ice cream.
Barkley (Marley and Todd)
11/07/03
Barkley is an energetic boxer who loves playing with his tiny sister Annabelle, loves to eat pig ears and run loose when
he can. He also loves to swim at the lake and play with his toy duck. Oh and of course he enjoys snuggling with mommy and
daddy at home. And did someone say COOKIES he likes to steal some when mommy isn't looking.
Annabelle (Marley and Todd)
11/07/05
Annabelle is Barkley's little sister and very little is this rat terrier. They were meant to be siblings when mommy realized
they were born on the same day, exactly two years apart! How strange is that? She like her big brother and friend Shadow(grandmas
dog). She enjoys loving on mommy and chewing on Barkleys legs : ) She spends her time annoying her big brother and the rest
catching up on sleep. Oh yeah and driving mommy crash with her puppy like habits like chewing up the trash : )
Gracie Mallory(Amy Renyolds)
11/11/2006
She is a buff color toy poodle. Grace is a very lovable dog.
Domino(Rebecca Porter)
11/23/05
A very beautiful black and white Siberian Husky with brown eyes who loves rawhide! I mean he will do anything for it.
He also loves people and dogs or is it dogs and people? Only he knows. A big baby that will probably never grow up. More than
anything, he loves cat toys!!
Molly (Farrah Darks)
11/25/06
Brutus (Rebecca Breeden)
11/29/2004
Brutus is shy, but very affectionate. I can always count on him to have my back when something scary is going on....way
back...!!
Roxie (Cara Nutter)
11/26/2005
Roxie is always happy and ready to play. She loves ALL her friends at Eagle Creek Bark Park. Roxie is my first dog ever
and I have learned a lot from her. We have the same personalities and have a lot of fun together!
Molly (Farrah Darks)
11/25/2005
December
Bentley Charles (Raymond if he's in REALLY BIG trouble) Whybrew (Melissa Whybrew)
12/5/2003
He was our first baby and the most spoiled. He loves the park, but we can't figure out if he's there for the dogs or
the people.
Lucy (Cathy DeNooyer)
12/5/02
Gosh, what can I say… She's a beautiful grey and white Siberian Husky with brown eyes who has saved my life! She
has, however, evened that out by hunting small fuury citters, pouncing on them and swallowing them whole. Lucy will be the
one on the high piece of agility equipment. She talks, woo-woos and when all the other dogs bark, she tilts her head back
and sings (howls). She loves to run long distance, chew on other dog's necks, and will chase a ball (maybe) but rarely bring
it back. Hey, she's a sled dog, not a retriever!
General (Pamela)
12/7/2001
My little Lab mix is all Lab at heart - and the tail never stops wagging to prove it! He's high energy and will
be a true "puppy" forever.
Eddy (Megan) 12/8/2003 He is a cairn terrior who doesn't realize he is a little dog. He mostly comes to the park
for the people.
Arwen (Carrie Schmidt)
12/11/2003
Arwen is our sweetie reverse brindle boxer girl. Although we may change her name to Houdini if we can't figure
out how she manages to take her leash off her Halti and go visiting around PetSmart! She's always the first one in the
pack to go "borrow" someone else's water!
Sarah(Heather)
12/12/1995
This is pretty close to Sarah's real birthday. I brought her home as a puppy from the Chicago Humane Society more than
10 years ago. Sarah is not too interested in all the park fur-youngsters but is even-tempered (regardless of what Desia tells
you) and always has a friendly greeting to anyone looking her way. Sarah walks in the shadow of her little brother Boo but
with her pleasant disposition you would never know she lives with such a spoiled-rotten little brother.
Billie (Danielle Vanderbek)
12/17/05
Gage (Kati Sands)
12/13/2006
He is like
Shadow (our other dog) a black lab mix and he is our baby boy! He is so big already, he is taller than his big sister. He loves to play with any toys and eat ANYTHING!
